Yury LIJUKSHIN (St Petersburg) was born in Leningrad in 1949. He graduated from Leningrad Arts College named after V.A. Serov. He specializes in graphic art and bookdesign. Since 1978 a member of the Russian Union of Artists. He works in etching with hand-made colour, aquatint, water color on the printed background. He is a winner of international bookplate and graphics competitions. He was also awarded a Silver Medal of Russian Academy of Artists in 2004.
