Rashid Dominov

Was born in Astrakhan in 1946
1972 - graduated from the painting department of the Repin Leningrad Academy of arts.
Since 1975 - Member of the Russian Union of Artists
Since 1995 - member of the Saint-Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art.
Rashid Dominov has participated in more than 200 exhibitions in Russia and abroad, 15 of them were author s exhibitions. Was an artistic director of more than 30 performances. Has illustrated a number of bboks.

Rashid Dominov works are in numerous museums and private collections, including: State Hermitage museum, State Russian museum, The Art Museum of Georgia, The State Museum of History of Saint-Petersburg, The Saint-Petersburg State Museum of Theatrical and Musical Art, Anna Akhmatova in Fontanny Dom, The State Museum of Political History of Russia, The State picture galleries of the cities: Astrakhan, Barnaul, Vologda, Khabarovsk, Tomsk, Volgograd, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk , Petrozavodsk. And in many private collections in Russia and abroad.
