Leila Kazbekova

Was born in 1977 in Leningrad.

In 1995 graduated from St Petersburg Artistic Lyceum named after B. Ioganson

In 2001 she graduated from the Repin Arts Academy in Saint Petersburg. There she studied graphics at A.A. Pahomova’s shop.
She is a member of the Russian Union of Artists.

Illustrated more than 20 books. In 2001 Leila Kazbekova won the first prize and the public appraisal for her diploma project at the “Petersburg’s Book Salon”.
Since 1997 Leila Kazbekova has participated in over 40 exhibitions in Russia and abroad (Finland, England, Czech Republic) , among these exhibitions there were two one man shows.
Leila Kazbekova’s works are in private collections in Russia and abroad (Finland, Germany, England and the USA).
