
Latif Kazbekov
Was born in 1954
In 1975 he graduated from the Alma-Ata N. V. Gogol art college.
In 1981 Latif Kazbekov graduated from the graphics school of the Repin Arts Academy in Saint-Petersburg. He studied at professor Epifanov’s shop of book graphics.
Member of the Russian Union of Artists
Member of the Saint-Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art.
Latif Kazbekov is author of 22 personal exhibitions and he has participated in more than 300 exhibitions in Russia and abroad: in USA, Germany, France, England, Japan, Finland, Italy, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Polish, Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Czechia, South Korea, Baltic States and in Commonwealth of Independent States.
Illustrated more than 70 books
He is a winner of fine arts and book art competitions.
Works are in numerous museums and private collections, including: State Russian museum; Museum of the City Sculptures; All-Russian Museum of A.S.Pushkin; State Museum of Arts named by Kasteev in Alma-Ata; State Museum of Arts in Bishkek; State Museum of Arts in Kazan; the Museum of nonconformist art (Pushkinskaya, 10, St. Petersburg); State Art Gallery of Kaliningrad; State Art Gallery of Novosibirsk; State Art Picture Gallery named by Kustodiev in Astrakhan; Painting Gallery in Komsomolsk-na-Amur; Manege Central Exhibition Hall (St. Petersburg); Diagilev Arts Center (S-Petersburg) and in many private collections in Russia and abroad
