Born in Leningrad, Russia, in 1953
Studied drawing, painting & printmaking at the Department of Architecture of the "Leningrad Higher School of Civil Engineering,
1990-Member of the St. Petersburg Artists Association, Russia
1991-Associate member of The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, London, England
1994-Fellow member of The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, London, England
1999- Honourary member of the Society of American Graphic Artists, New   York, USA
Since 1987 the author of 10 solo exhibitions in Russia, USA, Ireland, Scotland, Poland.
Has taken part in over 130 international exhibitions and competitions. Received awards at more then 30 of them.
His works are in private and more than 30 public collections, including: Victoria Albert Museum (London, England), New York Public Library (USA), Ashmolean Museum, Oxford; Bristol City Museum (England); Art Museums of Cornell, Stanford, Rochester Universities (USA); University of Glasgow (Scotland); Tama Art University Museum (Tokyo, Japan), Cracow National Museum, Poland.
