
Alexey Shtern
Was born in 1942 in Kazan.
In 1959-1961 he studied in the Kazan Art School
In 1962-1967 he studied in the Kharkov Art Institute, to the theatre workshop of professor B. V. Kosarev.(faculty of painting)
From 1971 he studied in the school studio of Moscow Arts Theatre (MHAT) directed by Oleg Yefremov.
1979-1984 he worked in the theatrical work-shop of the Repin Institute
He also worked as a producer and artist in various towns including Moscow (MHAT) and Saint Petersburg (at the Comedy on the Nevsky avenue, which is now called Akimov).
