Alexander Bihter
Was born in 1951 in Leningrad. In high school visited the art studio at the Palace of pioneers, which was supervised by S. D. Levin.
In 1972 has graduated from Krupskaya Institute of culture. After the active duty worked as a cliche etcher at the Ivan Fedorov Printing house’s zincographic workshop.
In 1972 has graduated from Leningrad Art-Industrial School named after Muhina. Worked as designer at the “Plastpribor” factory.
To this time concerns rapproachement with Alexander Manusov.
Since 1983 – the member of the Association of the Experimental Fine arts and the constant participant of its exhibitions.
From 1987 till 1992 supervised a fine art studio at teenage club “Smena”.
Since 1994 года – Member of the Russian Union of Artist
Represented by works at the State Russian Museum, Museum of the city history, the Museum of nonconformist art (Pushkinskaya, 10), museum “Carskoselskaya collektsiya”, Manege Central Exhibition Hall and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
Since 1990 is engaged book’s graphic, has issued a number of books for children.
The participant of many group exhibitions, including annual «Petersburg» exhibition in Manege (Central Exhibition Hall), “Avant-garde on Neva. Second half of XX century” (20.05 - 11.08 2003.)
